When starting IDL.XLSLINK via webstart this is now possible without previous start of IDL.KONSIS.FOREAST (via webstart).
If you invoke IDL.XLSLINK in a webstart configuration, then parameters which have no meaning for the webstart configuration are no longer displayed.
The IDL.XLSLINK application now can be started in a webstart configuration out of Excel.
For the purpose of easier recognition which formula is currently edited now the name of the selected application is displayed in the title bar of the formula window beside the text "IDL formula".
The IDL Connector parameter "origin report" in the read functions of company and group statement data is now available in IDL.XLSLINK with the designation "Reference report". It provides for a possibility to specify total positions in formulae which have to be broken down into sub-ordinate positions and accounts due to position account allocations with the aid of the specified reference report.
A field for "Business unit for depreciation" was supplemented in the export function for fixed asset objects.
The read and write functions of IDL Connector (old) are no longer developed from release 2016 on. Running Excel worksheets may continued to be used, however, there will be only limited support by IDL. From this release on only IDL.XLSLINK is supported for these purposes. Only IDL.XLSLINK can be used in connection with the 64 bit version of MS Excel. IDL.XLSLINK requires at least the version Microsoft Excel 2007.
Since the Excel entry form is technically based on IDL Connector the IDL Connector programs are still delivered with the release 2016 installation.
