The entry field "Long field descriptions" was removed from the map of settings since it had no function.

Like in the main application the setting "period in date format" is now permanently set in the Excel menu (ribbon), too, and cannot be deactivated to avoid errors.

Sometimes error messages from the interaction with IDL.KONSIS were displayed incompletely providing that the reason of the error could not be determined. Now the standard setting is that message are always displayed completely. The previous setting can be activated by a new button in the menu of the Excel add-in.

When requesting a value set for report data now additional information is output beneath the amounts for a better localisation of the source of the data. The following columns are output:

• Company
• Business unit ('*' if empty)
• Account number
• Voucher number or consolidation voucher number, respectively
• Position

The path for generation of TXT files ("save in file") is now always pre-selected with the path which is entered in the ini file (maintenance with the options dialogue) of IDL.KONSIS as the standard path for import of data.

The selection box for the language of exported descriptions (of master data) now only offers languages activated in the language table (SPR).

The export of position/account allocations is now possible without specification of a period from which on the allocations shall be valid. In this case the actual period from the start-up data (VOR) of the respective user is used.

The export functions were extended by the attributes supplemented in the IDL.KONSIS import, amongst others:

• Classifications per product and legal properties in the company master data (see above)
• Validation of IC details in account master data, account groups and check rules / positions (see above)
• Four digit clearing flag in the intercompany account balances (see above)

The authorisation for the entry form of IDL.XLSLINK and IDL.CONNECTOR now is possible via the active directory just like in IDL.KONSIS.FORECAST.

The read and write functions of IDL.CONNECTOR are no longer developed since Release 2016. Running Excel worksheets may be continued to be used, however, there will be only limited support by IDL. Now only IDL.XLSLINK is supported for these purposes. Only IDL.XLSLINK can be used in connection with the 64 bit version of MS Excel/ Office. If you have many and extensive Excel maps with IDL.CONNECTOR formulae the transition to IDL.XLSLINK may be a major project. In this case it is recommended to arrange support by your IDL consultant.
